Sigma Alpha Iota was founded June 12, 1903 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A professional sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota was for those interested in music and raising interest in the field of music. The University of Wyoming chapter was organized in February, 1925 and was formally installed on May 30, 1925.
